Scope and Content
Collection consists of two Hi8 videotapes. Sharon Woodcock describes photos on display and discusses her husband's life, work, and legacy, alone and in conversation with others who knew him, including Philip Mason and Doug Fraser. Primary topics of discussion are Leonard Woodcock's leadership of the UAW and his subsequent diplomatic career as ambassador to China. The recordings were filmed by Reuther archivist William LeFevre. The final 20 minutes of tape 2 consist of silent filming of exhibit images and text.

In August 2002, Sharon Woodock attended an exhibit at the Walter P. Reuther Library honoring her husband, Leonard Woodcock, who died the previous year. She had recordings made of the exhibit and reminiscenses by herself and other prominent attendees.
