Abstract AWOC was chartered by the American Federation of Labor-Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO) to organize farm workers in California. Abstract The Al Barnes Photographs consist of 17 black and white negatives that document life in Norhtern Michigan during the late 19th-century. The negatives include scenes of local landmarks, both man-made and natural, agricultural labors at work in the farms of the Old Mission Peninsula, and portraits of children.
